Dennis McManus
• This year’s honoree has been a cornerstone of our organization for nearly four decades.
• Since 1987, Dennis has competed at the highest levels—earning Top Ten swims, state championships, and competing nationally and internationally. But his impact extends far beyond competition.
• Dennis has served as LMSC Chair and Vice Chair, contributed at the national level, and helped shape the very foundation of our organization.
• Dennis played a key role in building our identity—developing the first Michigan LMSC website, transitioning the newsletter to a digital format, and designing logos, banners, and championship materials that remain part of our tradition today.
• Dennis has been a meet organizer, photographer, historian, and ambassador—capturing moments, creating systems, and strengthening our community at every level.
Quite simply, Michigan Masters would not be what it is today without Dennis McManus’s contributions.
