2026 MI-LMSC Annual Meeting

The annual meeting of the Michigan Local Masters Swimming Committee (MI‑LMSC) is scheduled on Saturday April 18, 2026 during the 2026 State Championship meet at Oakland University in the OU Credit Union O’rena. Time of the meeting is 20 minutes after the conclusion of the last event in Session #4 on Saturday morning. A light lunch will be served for those who attend the meeting. This is an election year for the MI-LMSC board of directors.

Important Deadlines: The items listed below are available for submission from February 15th through March 14th, 2026. All information submitted will be shared with the MI-LMSC General Membership on March 15th, 2026 on this website.

5. New Business: Member Points of Discussion

The following topics will be presented for floor debate (3-minute limit per speaker):

• Topic A: State Meet Pricing Structure
  Discussion on alternative pricing structures such as a lower base registration fee plus a per-event add-on fee.

• Topic B: Meet Scheduling & Warm-ups
  Discussion on mandatory morning warm-up times or only allowing distance events in the afternoon session.
