Leadership
The Michigan LMSC board — all volunteers, all swimmers. Elections are held at the annual meeting each fall.
Leads day-to-day management of the LMSC, calls and presides over meetings, and appoints board members and committees with board approval.

Stands in for the Chair as needed, monitors bylaw and policy revisions, and chairs the Nominating Committee. Succeeds the Chair as chair-elect.

Records meeting minutes and delivers timely reports to USMS, the Board of Directors, and the LMSC general membership.

Maintains the LMSC's financial records and banking, deposits funds received, issues payments, and prepares the annual financial statement.

Schedules and sanctions LMSC competitions, supports meet hosts with rules and supplies, and maintains state records and Top 10 times.

Handles registration for individual members, clubs, and workout groups, and maintains the current membership roster.

Appointed Officers
Edits, publishes, and distributes LMSC information through the website, keeping members current on meets, deadlines, and announcements.

Relays coaches' concerns to the Board, shares USMS Coaches Committee guidance across the LMSC, and schedules coaching clinics.

Promotes USMS open water events to Michigan members and assists event directors with planning and conducting those swims.
