SANCTION:

This meet is approved by Michigan Masters Swimming as a sanctioned swim meet. All meet participants must be currently registered with USMS swimming to participate. USMS rules will govern all competition. The meet sanction # is  193-S014. 

LOCATION: South Lyon East High School, 52200 Ten Mile Rd., South Lyon, MI 48178. Bob Crosby-Meet Manager

TIME: Session 1 warm-up-7:00-7:25 A.M.
Session 1 will consist of the first 20 entries received (2 heats of 10 lanes)) in the 1650 free and will begin at 7:30 A.M. NO DECK ENTRIES FOR THE 1650!

Session 2 warm-up-9:00-9:30 A.M.
Session 2 will begin at 9:30 A.M. (see below order of events)

FACILITY: South Lyon East has an 11 lane pool with a Colorado Timing System and scoreboard. Up to 10 lanes can be used for competition. With most events seeded in 8 lanes, two lanes can be used for warm-up and swim down. Lane 9 is closed during competition to have a buffer between competition and warm-up. 

 The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1. The primary timing system will be automated with a sound device at the start and swimmer touching the pad at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Official times from this automated timing system will be submitted for USMS records and USMS top ten times for all courses. For short/long course meters the time will submitted to FINA for Masters FINA top ten and Masters FINA world records. 

 Pool locker rooms will be available to use for changing. All swimmers should bring their own locks, or plan to bring your clothes and valuables on deck during the competition. South Lyon Schools assume no liability for any missing items at the meet. 

ENTRIES:  EACH COMPETITOR MAY ENTER A MAXIMUM OF 5 EVENTS!  Swimmers may enter by mail or online. If you wish to mail in your entry, send it to: Bob Crosby / 23579 Spy Glass Hill North / South Lyon, MI 48178  Please include your completed entry blank, check, and a signed USMS Waiver Form. 

ENTRY DEADLINES – By mail (Wednesday, 11/8/23) / online (Friday 11/10 By 3:00 PM) 

 If at all possible, please try and do your entries online.  If you are not able to send in your entries ahead of time, there will be deck entry registration from 8:00-9:00 AM 

ENTRY FEE:  For entries received in the mail or online by the above deadlines – $35. For deck entries – $40  Make all checks payable to:  SLHS GIRLS SWIM AND DIVE BOOSTERS 

LUNCHEON:  Included with your entry fee will be a post meet luncheon. The meal will be supplied by the South Lyon and South Lyon East Varsity swim and dive parents. Any family members who wish to stay and eat may do so for a  $3 charge. 

 ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE MEET WILL GO TO SUPPORT SOUTH LYON HIGH SCHOOL AND SOUTH LYON EAST HIGH  SCHOOL GIRLS SWIMMING AND DIVING! 

REFUND POLICY: By registering for this swim meet, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.
