Short Course Yards Masters Swim Meet

Online Registration Will Close on  Friday, January 6, 2023 at 9:00 PM.

SANCTION: This meet is sanctioned by Michigan Masters Swimming as a sanctioned swim meet. All meet participants must be currently registered with USMS swimming. USMS rules will govern all competition. Sanction # 193-S006

LOCATION: Mason High School, 1001 South Barnes Street, Mason, MI 48854

TIME: Session 1 warm-up-7:30-7:55 A.M.
Session 1 will consist of the first 32 entries received (4 heats of 8 lanes) in the 500 free and

16 entries of the 400 IM.  Events will begin at 8:00 A.M.

Session 2 warm-up 8:45-9:30 A.M.  Events will begin at 9:35 A.M.

FACILITY: Mason is an 11 lane pool, with a Colorado Timing System and projector. Up to 8 lanes can be used for competition. The remaining lanes will be used for warm-up and swim down & a bulkhead during the competition. “The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.”

The primary timing system will be automated with sound device at the start and swimmer touching the pad at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Official times from this automated timing system will be submitted for USMS Records and USMS Top Ten times for all courses. For Short/Long Course Meters the time will be submitted to FINA for Masters FINA Top Ten and Masters FINA World Records.”

Pool locker rooms will be available to use for changing. All swimmers should bring their own locks, or plan to bring your clothes and valuables on deck during the competition. Mason Public Schools assumes no liability for any missing items at the meet.

ENTRIES: Each competitor may enter a maximum of 5 events.
ONLINE ENTRY DEADLINE: FRIDAY, January 6th BY 9 PM.
ONLINE ENTRY FEE: $35
Deck registrations will be from 7:30 – 9:00 A.M. the day of the meet.

ALL PROCEEDS FROM THE MEET WILL GO TO SUPPORT MASON VARSITY SWIMMING AND DIVING! The Mason Athletes will be there to cheer you on, time for you, feed you, and be inspired by your continued competition.  PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THIS MEET.

A completed entry form showing what you registered for will be emailed to you after you complete your online registration.

Refund Policy: By registering for this swim meet, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.
