LOCATION: Charlotte Community Pool is located at 1068 Carlisle Highway, Charlotte MI 48813.

FACILITY Charlotte is an 8-lane pool, with a Colorado Timing System and digital board. There is a diving well for warm up and cool down. At the meet director’s discretion, the meet may run with either 6 or 8 lanes. If only 6 lanes are used, the other 2 lanes to be used as warm and cool down.

RULES AND ELIGIBILITY: Only swimmers who have a current USMS membership will be allowed to compete. If you register for USMS 48 hours prior to our meet please bring a copy of your Membership. If you’re not currently a member, apply now on the web at http://registration.usms.org/reg  Please show your card/registration number when you arrive Master Swimming governing body. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1.  The primary timing system will be automated with sound device at the start and swimmer touching the pad at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Official times from this automated timing system will be submitted for USMS Records and USMS Top Ten times for all courses. For Short/Long Course Meters the time will be submitted to FINA for Masters FINA Top Ten and Masters FINA World Records.

START TIMES: Session 1 warm-up-7:30-7:55am. Session 1 will consist of the first 24 entries received (3 heats of 8 lanes) in the 500 free and 16 entries of the 400 IM. Events will begin at 8:00am. Session 2 warm-up 8:45-9:30am.  Events will begin at 9:35am

AGE DETERMINATION DATE: The age for this event is determined by the swimmer’s age on January 11, 2026.

ENTRY DEADLINE:  Online entries shall remain open until Thurs., January 8, 2026 at 9:00 pm

ENTRY LIMITS:  Swimmers may swim a maximum of 5 individual events. 500 Free: 1st 24 entries & 400 IM: 1st 16 entries received are in, you will be sent an email or called if you are not in.  Deck entries for the 500 free and 400 IM are allowed only if there is space.

DAY OF MEET ENTRIES INFO:  Day of meet registration is $45.  You MUST Bring a copy of your 2026 USMS registration card to the meet.  Deck registration will be from 7:30 – 9:00am

SEEDING METHOD: Slow to fast by time (w/o regard to age or gender) for all events except for the 500 yd, and the 1000 yd Freestyle which will be seeded fast to slow.

REFUND POLICY: By registering for this swim meet, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.
