Canadian Nationals 2026

59 athletes ventured over the border, cheered for each other, had a great team dinner and swam fast! These stats say it all: One world record, two national records, 35 individual State records, 6 State relay records, 44 Individual National Champions and 7 relay National Champions. Way to go Michigan Masters! Rumor has it we’re back for 2028 save the date!

It’s hard to pick a high point because we had several in the mix. Based on Meet Mobile as we do not have official results yet our high point for Michigan Masters on the men’s side goes to Chuck Olson with 73.50 points and on the women’s side Denise Brown with 55 points. Speaking of Chuck Olson, he swam seven individual events, was National Champion in 7 events, and broke six out of seven State records. Amazing! Speaking of Amazing, Kevin Doak had an amazing weekend. He swam 6 events, National Champion in 6 events, broke 1 World Record in the 100 Back, 2 USMS records in the 100 fly and 100 Back and broke 6 state records.
