DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 7\, 2026\nShort Course Yards\nUSMS Sanction #196-S001 \nONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED \nThe 1650 freestyle is now full. \nLOCATION: South Lyon East High School\, 52200 Ten Mile Rd.\, South Lyon\, MI 48178. \nMEET DIRECTOR: Bob Crosby – wbcoachbob@hotmail.com \nFACILITY: South Lyon East has an 11 lane pool with a Colorado Timing System and scoreboard. Up to 10 lanes can be used for competition. With most events seeded in 8 lanes\, two lanes can be used for warm-up and swim down. Lane 9 is closed during competition to have a buffer between competition and warm-up. Pool locker rooms will be available to use for changing. All swimmers should bring their own locks\, or plan to bring your clothes and valuables on deck during the competition. South Lyon Schools assume no liability for any missing items at the meet. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1. The primary timing system will be automated with sound device at the start and swimmer touching the pad at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard. Times from this competition will be eligible for world record\, USMS record\, and Top 10 consideration. \nELIGIBILITY: Only swimmers who have a current USMS membership will be allowed to compete. If you register for USMS 48 hours prior to our meet please bring a Photocopy of your Membership. If you’re not currently a member\, apply now on the web at http://registration.usms.org/reg/ Please show your card/registration number when you arrive.\n\nREGISTRATION: You may enter up to 5 individual events. Online entries are $40. Register Online at: www.michiganmasters.com. Online registration closes Friday 3/6/26 at 12:00 Noon. Deck entries (day of) are $45. Deck registration closes at 9:00 am 3/7/26.\nMEET TIMELINE: \n\nSESSION I: Check in and Warm-up-7:00-7:25 A.M. Session 1 will consist of the first 20 entries received (2 heats of 10 lanes) in the 1650 free and will begin at 7:30 A.M. NO DECK ENTRIES FOR THE 1650!\nSESSION II: Deck warm-up-9:00-9:30 A.M. Session 2 will begin at 9:30 A.M.\n\nREFUND POLICY: By registering for this swim meet\, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event\, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.\nThe Michigan LMSC believes that athletes\, coaches\, officials\, support staff and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive sport environment that is free of abuse\, harassment and discrimination. \nHOSPITALITY:  Included with your entry fee will be a post meet luncheon. The meal will be supplied by the South Lyon and South Lyon East Varsity swim and dive parents. Session I Starts 7:45 am and will consist only of the first 18 entries (3 heats) received for the 800 Free. We will contact you if you’re not in the 800. If not at max and you are coming early\, we will allow deck entries on a first come basis. \nSession II Events 2-20 \nDeck Registration for Session II only will close at 9:00 am. Warm up will begin when 800 is complete (around 8:45am). Session II will start at 9:30am. \nEntries: You may enter up to 5 individual events and 3 relays. Online entries are $40. All relays will be deck entered \nFINA rules apply to SCM Meets. Your age on 12/31/2026 determines your age group. \nRegister Online at: michiganmasters.com. Milford High School is 1.5 miles south of M-59\, enter on Watkins Blvd. Pool entrance is located on north end of school by the football field. Venue: Short Course Meters / 6 Lane Pool. Warm Up & Cool Down Area and Electronic Timing. There is plenty of parking and seating for spectators. Locker rooms are available. Huron Valley Schools is not responsible for lost or stolen items\, please bring a lock. This meet will be swum as Short Course Meters (SCM). The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 106.2.1. Official times from this automated timing system will be submitted for USMS Records and USMS Top Ten times for all courses.
