DESCRIPTION:Presented by the Beechview Swim & Tennis Club (Outdoor Facility).  USMS Sanction # 195-S007  \nWhat: Short Course Meters (SCM) –  Outdoor Facility  \nDate:  Sunday\, September 14\, 2025  \nLocation: Beechview Swim & Tennis Club\, 27000 Westmeath Ct. Farmington Hills\, MI 48334 \nONLINE REGISTRATION CLOSED \nCost:  Online entries shall be $40 and remain open until 11:59 pm September 12\, 2025 . \nDeck Entries will be $40. Bring a copy of your 2025 USMS card to the swim meet.  \nEntries: Online and deck entries only. Swimmers may swim a maximum of 4 individual events. Relay shall be deck entry only. Your age for this event is determined by your age on December 31\, 2025. \nContact: Jenny & Noah Birmelin  E-mail:  bvscmasters@gmail.com  \nSchedule: Check-in and warm up 8:00-8:45 am. Meet will start at 9:00 am  \nEligibility: Only current 2025 USMS members will be allowed to compete. USMS registrations will not be offered at the door. \nRefund Policy: By registering for this swim meet\, you have purchased a “ticket”. As with a ticket to any sports or entertainment event\, there are no refunds or credits if you are unable to attend.\nThe Michigan LMSC believes that athletes\, coaches\, officials\, support staff and volunteers have the right to participate in a safe and inclusive sport environment that is free of abuse\, harassment and discrimination. \nExtras:  Meet snacks will be provided by Beechview Swim & Tennis Club. \nMeet proceeds benefit Beechview Swim and Tennis Club.  \n \n Small Print Items  \n1. The length of the competition course without a bulkhead is in compliance and on file with USMS in accordance with articles 105.1.7 and 107.2.1  \n2. The primary timing system will be semi-automated with a sound device at the start and swimmer touching the wall at the finish with the time recorded on a scoreboard by a Dolphin timing system. Per 103.18.6 Records and Top 10 Times Using a Semiautomatic Primary Timing System—Semiautomatic times are used to determine the official time as follows (or backup times when the semiautomatic primary timing system fails)\, provided the procedures in article 103.17.3B are followed:  \nA. USMS Top 10 times may be established when timed by a minimum two-button semiautomatic primary timing system and the times are reported by three\, two\, or one valid button times.  \nB. USMS Top 10 times may be established when the minimum two-button semiautomatic primary system fails (no valid button times) if the times are reported by a manual backup system with three\, two\, or one valid watch times.  \nC. USMS records shall not be established using a semiautomatic primary system or a manual backup system when the primary system fails.  \nD. An initial distance or relay leadoff leg may be used to establish USMS Top 10 times when the times are reported by a manual backup timing system with a minimum of two valid watch times.  \n3. Times from this competition will be eligible for USMS Top 10 considerations\, but not for world or USMS records.
