Michigan Masters takes 6th Place in the Regional Club Division

The 2022 USMS Spring Short Course National Championships took place from April 28 to May 1, 2022 at the Northside ISD Swim Center in San Antonio, Texas. 1814 swimmers entered the meet from 268 Clubs with 57 USMS National Individual Event Records set during the course of the meet. Michigan Masters placed 6th in the Regional Club Combined Division with 454 points with 26 swimmers (14 Women and 12 Men). The Women’s team placed 8th with 228 points and the Men’s team placed 7th with 182 points. 6 Michigan LMSC Records were set during the course of the meet (4 individual, 2 Relay.

Corrin Buck won 4 events and 2nd place finishes were swam by Alicia Blondell, Aaron Helander, Andrew McFee, Chuck Olson, and Randy Parker. Aaron Helander broke a 27 year old State Record, which was one of the longest State Records in the 200 Fly in the 25-29 age-group. Corrin Buck was the Michigan Masters Women’s High Point winner with 54 points and Chuck Olson was the Michigan Masters Men’s High Point winner with 40 Points.  Results, Records, and Placings are included in the Exhibits.  Congratulations to all 26 swimmers that swam in the meet.
